Project Overview

Professional Pioneers designed the Transport General Authority (TGA) Pavilion as part of the Authority’s participation in the UITP Global Public Transport Summit in Barcelona. The international summit brought together professionals and organizations from across the global public transport sector. Held under the theme “Bright Light of the City,” the event provided a platform for exploring innovation opportunities, exchanging ideas and expertise, and developing international partnerships that can contribute to the future of public transportation.

The pavilion was designed to present TGA’s institutional presence within an international professional environment while maintaining a clear connection to the Authority’s Saudi identity. Professional Pioneers developed an open and accessible spatial concept that supported visitor engagement, direct communication, and the presentation of TGA’s content. The layout was structured to accommodate different visitor interactions while maintaining a consistent and professional visual presence throughout the pavilion.

The scope included the development of the booth's spatial and visual design, followed by the implementation of its main architectural and display elements. This included the reception area, communication and meeting spaces, digital screens, and dedicated content display points. TGA’s corporate identity was integrated across the pavilion’s architectural and visual components to create a unified environment that clearly represented the Authority within an international setting.

Particular attention was given to the relationship between the pavilion’s different functions. The open layout facilitated visitor access while allowing sufficient space for conversations, meetings, and content presentation. Rather than separating each function into isolated areas, the design connected reception, engagement, and content display within one coherent visitor journey.

This approach allowed TGA’s identity and content to remain visible without creating unnecessary visual complexity. The result was a pavilion that supported both institutional representation and meaningful interaction with visitors and sector professionals attending the summit
