Project Overview
Professional Pioneers managed and delivered the Smart Grid Hackathon 2025 as part of the 13th Saudi Arabia Smart Grid Conference (SASG 25) in Riyadh. Designed as an innovation track alongside the main conference programme, the hackathon provided participants with a practical environment to develop and present ideas and solutions related to smart grids, digital transformation, and electricity technologies. It connected the conference’s specialist discussions with applied innovation, creating an opportunity to explore technical challenges through collaborative problem-solving and solution presentations.<br><br>Professional Pioneers coordinated the hackathon’s operational requirements and participant journey within the wider conference programme. The scope included preparing challenge, work, and presentation areas; organizing participant flow; coordinating the stages for presenting solutions; and arranging the screens and supporting visual and technical elements required for the programme. These components were structured to support the development and presentation of ideas while providing an organized setting for collaboration, technical exchange, and engagement throughout the hackathon.<br><br>A key consideration was to integrate the hackathon into the broader SASG 25 experience without losing its distinct identity as an innovation-focused activity. The visual and operational elements were aligned with the main conference identity, while the layout and programme arrangements reflected the practical needs of a hackathon, including collaborative work, technical presentations, and participant movement. This approach maintained consistency with the professional and technical character of the conference while giving the innovation track a clear and recognizable presence.
